Steel Double Point Brads measure 1/2" long and just under 3/64" diameter and are the fast and effective method of preventing boards from sliding when being edge or face joined. Also great for temporary ( dry run ) assembly of smaller pieces.
Easiest way to insert the brads is with the available Brad Tool.The tool has a fixed shank with a blind hole that leaves 1/2 the brad exposed. Simply push the exposed brad into wood, it will only go in partially, leaving approximately half the brad above surface ready to accept the joining piece of wood.The brad tool is palm sized and fits comfortably in your hand.
